Abstract

A stele with a Luwian hieroglyphic inscription was received to Adana Museum on 28 May 2012. A relief figure of the Storm-God (Tarhunza) is represented on the obverse side of this stele, and a hieroglyphic inscription is inscribed on the reverse. The Storm-God is described with the divine epithet "MA(S)AHUNALI" in this inscription for the first time. The stele, which includes a protective curse, was dedicated to the MA(S)AHUNALI Storm-God on the front by Atika, a person who is attested for the first time in this inscription, and is the son of Kamani of Karkamış.
